Temple was born and raised in Charleston, WV, where she was brought up in the Methodist Church. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from West Virginia University and obtained her PK-4 Teaching Certificate at Wilson college in Chambersburg, PA. She currently works as a Kindergarten Teacher in the Quakertown Community School District. She is married to her husband, Russ, and they have three children: Kavai, Briggs, and Jett.
