Adult Bell Choir
The Tommy Shead Memorial Handbell Choir consists of fourteen ringers who use six octaves of handbells and five octaves of handchimes. The choir rings in worship on the 2nd Sunday of every month and for various community events and retirement centers. Rehearsals are every Monday from 7:30–9:00 PM. Reading music is a plus, but is not required. Persons with prior experience in other handbell choirs often find a role as a substitute for ringers who must miss a rehearsal or performance. This is a unique music ministry that requires dedication and a love of music.
Adult Bell Ensemble
The Bell Ensemble has eleven ringers who use three octaves of bells and handchimes. The ensemble rings on the 2nd Sunday of every month. Rehearsals are every Monday from 6:30–7:30 PM. Reading music is a plus, but is not required. A commitment to be at rehearsal each week and on the Sundays the ensemble performs is required. Members of the ensemble often substitute for members in the full choir and vice versa.

Special Outside Music
As the need dictates, professional musicians are hired to support our worship efforts. This might include support musicians, a string quartet, a harpist, or a timpanist. External music sources are supported by the Music Patrons’ Fund.
Music opportunities
In addition to choirs for ages three and up, we are always looking for instrumentalists and volunteers to help with our musical productions, props, and more. Please contact Stephanie if you are interested.
