2018-2019 Nursery Registration

Welcome to the Nursery at Doylestown United Methodist Church! The Nursery is located in Room 4/5 near Overholt Hall. We hope that you find the Nursery to be a safe and caring place to leave your child while you are in Worship. Here is some information to help make your Nursery experience a positive one.

Parents must fill out a Nursery Registration form before leaving their child in the Nursery.

The Nursery has two paid caregivers. All caregivers  are ‘Safe Sanctuary” certified and have had all relevant background checks completed. All our caregivers also have CPR and First Aid training.

Children from birth up to age 3 are welcome in the Nursery during the 9:30am service.

Children from birth up to age 5 are welcome in the Nursery during the 11:00am service and the 11:11 service.

A diaper bag clearly labeled with child’s name should be left in the Nursery.

The Nursery staff will change diapers if needed. If you do not want the Nursery staff to change your child’s diaper, please advise them before you leave the Nursery. You will be paged if your child needs to be changed.

You may stay with your child until he/she is made comfortable.

Parents are asked not to come into the Nursery to check on their children. They may observe through the window in the door. If there is a problem, they may enter at that time.

Parents will be contacted via a paging system if they are needed in the Nursery.

Parents will sign in/sign out their child on the weekly sign in sheet.

If a child has a special need, a parent will need to notify the Nursery Caregiver and/or the Director of Children’s Ministries about the situation.

Please do not bring sick children to the Nursery. If a child is clearly sick, he/she will not be able to stay in the nursery. If you child has had any of the following symptoms in the 24 hrs prior to coming to the Nursery, please keep them at home for the safety and health of all the children (rash, temperature, vomiting, diarrhea, yellow or green runny nose).

Due to allergies, snacks will not be served in the Nursery. Juice cups/bottles should be clearly labeled with child’s name.

Any concerns please contact Shelby Buron at 215-348-5224, or by email:
