The purpose of Staff/Parish Relations is to build and maintain relationships among members of the congregation and between congregation and staff. Its primary responsibility is to work with staff and congregation to accomplish the mission of the church. Tasks include educating and reminding the staff and congregation to focus on church mission, developing and recommending policy, assessing job performance, conferring and consulting with the District Superintendent, supporting lifelong learning and spiritual renewal for all staff, and identifying and supporting members called to ministry. Volunteers are welcome, but members are nominated by the Nominations Committee.
